When it was first suggested that I include poetry in my first book, The Outskirts of His Glory, I was a little daunted; I hadn't written any poems in years. But practice makes perfect, right? And so I joined the 12 Poems Challenge - a series of monthly prompts to get the words flowing, with the bonus of feedback and comment from other poetry writers.​
